Located in the "Cold City", where undeniably, most must have wished to visit at least once in a lifetime. Standard hospital, fine weather (almost Mediterranean), fine people, cheap cost of living.
However, recent incessant crisis and ethnic tensions have made the belle city a source of goose pimples.
The hospital recently moved to the permanent site, from the new site. However the HOQ is located at the old site of the hospital. Free bus shuttles, however, are available to and fro hospital, if one finishes preparing for work by 7.30 am (to), and if work ends by 4.30pm (fro). There are several other options for commercial transport, though.
A candid advice: Jos is still volatile and one may need to keep ears to the ground and be at alert always for any news of crisis. Rumors are often not to be disregarded. And each morning, the first thing to do might be to look up to the sky- if there are smoky billows reconsider going out that day, or at least call others to know what's happening; especially Sundays and Fridays.

UITH
University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital.
The University was adjudged the best University in Nigeria by a recent webometrics ranking, though one cannot say whether the teaching hospital is the best too. Truth is, it's a good centre with a management that works.
In 2010, the interview was in June, and as usual, lists were released in batches. The first batch commenced house job in July.
